Open Graph & Social Preview Checker

When your link is shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or Slack, Open Graph tags decide whether it renders as a rich preview card — or a bare, unclickable URL. This checker tests every social tag in seconds.

What is Open Graph?

Open Graph is a meta tag protocol (created by Facebook, now universal) that controls how URLs render when shared: the headline, description and image of the preview card.

Why it matters for traffic

Shared links with preview cards get dramatically more clicks than bare URLs. If og:image is missing, every share on every platform is leaking free referral traffic.

Twitter/X cards

X uses its own twitter:card tag alongside Open Graph. Set summary_large_image for a full-width preview — we check for it automatically.
