Every checker, including ours, compresses a page into a number so you will look at the list. The list is the product. The number is a sorting hat.
Read in this order
- Critical (fails). noindex, wrong canonical, robots Disallow all, 4xx/5xx. If any of these fire on a page you care about, stop. Nothing else matters until they are gone.
- Title and H1. Your snippet and your topic. Cheap to fix, high leverage.
- Content volume and uniqueness. A beautiful 80-word page will not compete. The checker can only count words; you still have to judge quality.
- Speed (TTFB). A ranking factor and a conversion factor. Cache before you compress icons.
- Everything else. Alt coverage, OG tags, heading skips, llms.txt. Real, smaller.
What the score cannot see
Links. Brand searches. Whether the copy answers the query. Whether ten other sites said it better. That is why a 95 loses to a 70 on a stronger domain. We wrote this up at length in what a good SEO score means.
Run one, then stop
Audit the homepage, the money page, and one article. Template bugs repeat. You do not need 400 URLs on day one. Use the free SEO checker, fix reds, re-run the same three URLs. When they are A-grade, go write something someone would bookmark.
